The Legend of OG Pearl Craft
Deep-sea sourcing, master craftsmanship, and the rich legacy of Nizam pearl curation, reborn for the modern connoisseur.
A Century of Pearl Curation
The story of OG Pearl Craft is deeply intertwined with the royal pearl heritage of India. For generations, Hyderabad, the legendary "City of Pearls," has been the epicenter of pearl drilling, grading, and designing. Inspired by this legacy, our founders set out to establish a design house that preserves these time-honored secrets while introducing contemporary geometric silhouettes.
We bypass standard wholesale brokers, sourcing directly from sustainable, pristine coastal pearl farms across the South Seas, Tahiti, and Japan. This ensures that every pearl in our custody has thrived in clean, nutrient-dense ocean currents, resulting in superior nacre thickness, luster, and structural durability.
Watch our master stringers and gemologists select, knot, and polish each piece of jewelry. Every design tells a story of patience, detail, and dedication.
Double-Knot Silk Stringing
Our signature necklaces are strung using traditional Indian silk threading methods. Using ultra-strong natural silk threads, our artisans tie a precise double hand-knot between every single pearl. This critical step serves two purposes: first, it prevents the pearls from rubbing against one another and wearing down their precious nacre; second, in the unlikely event of a break, only a single pearl will release, safeguarding the rest of your necklace.
This meticulous technique gives our necklaces a soft, flowing drape that molds perfectly to the neck, creating an elegant contour that synthetic threads can never replicate.
Pledge of Lifetime Authenticity
Every masterpiece leaving our Hyderabad atelier is accompanied by a laboratory-certified Certificate of Authenticity. This document registers the geographical origin, surface clean classification, spherical percentage, and nacre depth of your pearls, securing their trade value for generations to come.
