Heritage Techniques

Double-Knot Silk Stringing

Our signature necklaces are strung using traditional Indian silk threading methods. Using ultra-strong natural silk threads, our artisans tie a precise double hand-knot between every single pearl. This critical step serves two purposes: first, it prevents the pearls from rubbing against one another and wearing down their precious nacre; second, in the unlikely event of a break, only a single pearl will release, safeguarding the rest of your necklace.
